CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

• To ensure the processing and effective administration of student accounts in compliance with Nelson Mandela University policies procedures.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Ensure accurate maintenance of external bursary accounts, which include Invoicing, allocation, collection and reconciliations.
• Make appropriate adjustments to student accounts and in accordance to Nelson Mandela University

policies by means of journals/refunds.

• Responsible for investigating of disputed accounts.
• Run validation reports to identify risks and irregularities on the fee accounts
• Responsible for the preparations of quotations document according to clients’ or internal departments’ individual needs in collaboration with faculties.
• Handle written and verbal enquiries.

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Knowledge of MS Word. Outlook and Excel
• Financial Management skills
• Good analytical skills/Problem solving
• Ability to communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

In order to be considered for appointment to this post, candidate must have.

• Matric and Financial Accounting I, with at least a minimum of three years’ experience in a financial administration.
• National Diploma in finance qualification with at least two to three years’ experience in a financial environment. Banking experience would be advantageous.
